Polres Dumai Tetapkan Satu Tersangka Pembakar Hutan

Detik12.com,Dumai-Satu tersangka pembakar lahan tiga hektar di Dumai-Riau diamankan polisi. Tersangka ini merupakan seorang petani yang membersihkan lahannya diduga karena unsur kelalaian membuang puntung rokok sembarangan sehingga mengakibatkan lahan miliknya terbakar. kini tersangka ditahan dan menjalani proses hukum di Mapolres Dumai.

Satu TSK Karlahut (MS) Diamankan

Penyidik satuan reskrim polres Dumai menetapkan seorang warga kecamatan Dumai Barat, kota Dumai inisial ms (53) sebagai tersangka pembakar lahan, karena saat terjadi kebakaran tersangka merupakan pemilik lahan sedang berada di lahan terbakar tengah berupaya memadamkan api dengan ranting kayu dan peralatan seadanya. luas lahan yang terbakar di kecamatan Dumai Barat tersebut, mencapai tiga hektar.
Polisi dan petugas manggala agni yang mengetahui adanya kebakaran lahan langsung turun ke lokasi untukmembantu pemadaman dan mendapatkan tersangka di lokasi tersebut. tiupan angin membuat kobaran api cepat menjalar dan meluas.
Pengakuan tersangka,dirinya saat itu tujuan hanya melihat lahan yang sudah dibersihkan, namun tanpa disengaja puntung rokok nya yang dibuang sembarangan di lokasi banyak terdapat ranting kering mengakibatkan kebakaran hingga membuat dirinya kewalahan untuk memadamkan.
Kapolres Dumai AKBP Restika Perdamaian Nainggolan, menyebutkan tersangka ditetapkan sebagai tersangka karena kelalaiannya mengakibatkan lahan miliknya terbakar yang luasnya mencapai tiga hektar.
Guna kepentingan penyidikan polisi sudah mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti seperti ranting kayu yang digunakan tersangka untuk memadamkan api, mancis, dan helm penutup kepala. Akibat perbuatannya dapata dijerat dengan pasal 108 jo pasal 69 undang undang ri nomor 32 tahun 2009 tentang perlindungan dan pengelolaan hutan ancaman hukumam 12 tahun penjara. BPBD Provinsi Riau mencatat seluas 66,5 hektar lahan sudah terbakar disepanjang tahun 2019 yang berada di beberapa kabupaten dan kota di Riau.
